About

I am a visual effects compositor from Quito, Ecuador. My journey in this field started when I studied multimedia design. After graduating in 2008, I worked in a variety of things, ranging from Illustration to 3D work, web design and editorial design. In 2011, I dipped my toes in video post-production first as a motion designer, 3D generalist and finally as a compositing artist, which allows me to balance and combine all my interests. In the past eight years, I’ve worked for both, advertising and film, for feature animation and vfx projects. I currently live in Montreal, Canada. 

Photography is one of my favorite activities, I enjoy traveling and taking photos, focusing more on nature and landscape images, it has allowed me to develop my skills in visual composition, framing and image balance, and also to make some experiments with color grading. Homebrewing, on the other hand is my hobby when I want to take a break from long hours in front of a screen. I founded @clandestinabrewing with my brother, it is a small brewery located in Quito, Ecuador.
